One to One

Just-Do-Yoga Lorna yoga coach, yoga classes
Lorna from Just-Do-Yoga in Dancer's Pose

One to one yoga offers you the best opportunity for taking the time to refine your practice, whether a beginner or an experienced practitioner, as the class will be tailored to your needs and requests. This form of learning will allow time for discussion about your practice and all aspects of yoga that interest you.

Perhaps you are not ready to attend a group yoga class and wish to learn some yoga postures in private first. Maybe you already go to classes and wish to strengthen your practice, work on flexibility or focus on a particular posture or aspect of yoga, or you find the postures do not feel right for your body and you would like to have the time to explore them privately in more detail.

If you are a trainee teacher this could be the perfect opportunity to fine-tune your asana practice.

Whatever the reason, a 1-2-1 session can meet your yoga needs in the privacy and security of your own home, at a time to suit you.

A one-to-one private yoga class could also be a fantastic gift for the yoga enthusiast in your life!

If you would like to share the costs or the experience of a private class with a friend or two,  I am also happy to teach small private groups.  I have found that this can work well for those who wish to delve a little deeper into their yoga practice and have the opportunity to pause and discuss aspects of yoga with other like-minded yogis as things crop up.  This can be a great option for  student teachers.

What you need

  • Yoga mat.
  • Loose, comfortable clothing, or stretchy fitness/sports clothing such as leggings, that allow you to move easily.
  • Yoga is a barefoot practice but you may wish to have some socks and a warm top for relaxation at the end of the class.
  • Yoga props such as a block and blanket can be useful, but a book and cushions work just as well.
  • You need a little space to set out your mat.
  • I am able to bring a mat and yoga props such as blocks if you don't have these available.
